Computer Control of Ambisonic Soundfields

Abstract

Some of the basic Ambisonic soundfield controls are examined and arguments presented for the introduction of computer control, particularly in complex systems. Some details of the present Author's experiences with digitally controlled analog units are given and some consideration is given to the benefits of going to a fully digital implementation.
