The use of multiple keyboards and/or tone generators fed to a mixing console has become quite commonplace among keyboard players and other artists. The function of this type of "keyboard mixer," however, would be greatly enhanced if greater signal processing capability and setting memory were available. This paper describes a digital mixing processor which fully meets these requirements with high-quality digital signal processing and extensive parameter programming capability.
