Applications of electronic spreadsheets for sound system engineering are presented. Advantages of computer spreadsheet programs are presented. Advantages of computer spreadsheet programs over conventional programs are discussed and a total sound system design example is given. It is shown, through this example, that design calculations for a large sound system made up of many sub-systems may be simplified and more easily documented through the use of electronic spreadsheets.
