Personal Microphones

The term personal microphone is used to designate a microphone worn by a speaker with the resultant sound pickup inherently limited to the person wearing the microphone. The operational characteristics of the personal microphone have been developed. These include response to ambient noise, direct sound, reflected sound and feedback in a sound reinforcing system. The transducers suitable for personal microphones are described.
