AB - The day seems to be fast approaching when the high-fidelity enthusiast will demand the additional advantages of stereophonic reproduction. -Stereo- radio broadcasts and special recordings have been made available which readily acquaint him with its benefits. In this paper a new type of -compatible- disk record is described which contains simultaneous recordings for two-channel stereophonic applications, yet the economy of running time is as great as that of the customary single-channel disk.
