AB  - A working group of the Scandinavian broadcasting companies has worked out a draft recommendation for the listening conditions in sound control rooms. The major features of this recommendation, esdpecially the requirements on the frequency response of the loudspeaker(s) in the room, are presented. In many cases electrical equalization is needed to meet the requirements. Some practical aspect of equalization, such as which kind of frequency corrections should be made and which kind can be detrimental, are discussed.
