The Relations Among Aftereffects of Acoustic Stimulation

Authors: Kelsey, Patricia A.

AES Convention 13 · Paper 220 · October 1961

Abstract

A direct relation between temporary threshold shift (TTS) after noise exposure, and permanent acoustic trauma, has not been demonstrated. Attempts are being made to select on a rational basis the briefest test of TTS to use in predicting the noise-susceptible ear.
