A Vibration-Stabilizer System for Phonograph Reproduction

The conventional pivoted pickup-arm system has an intrinsic instability at its low-frequency resonance, resulting in frequency modulation of simultaneous program material as well as loss of trackability. A stabilizer system is described which is effective, yet avoids the problems of previous systems.
