Performance requirements and current techniques for disco sound system installations are described, referred to field experience in building many systems. Quality, reliability and maintainability are discussed by considering the disco sound system as a key tool the club owner invests in. While most techniques and equipment are known and readily available, some are not. The pioneering effort in this exciting relatively new area provides challenging opportunities for all.
