AB - STIPA is a popular method for the prediction of speech intelligibility when speech is passed through a transmission channel. Though, implementations of STIPA are not publicly available and are often limited to the use with a proprietary measurement hardware. We present a Matlab implementation of STIPA direct method according to the IEC 60268-16:2020 standard. The proposed implementation meets prescribed requirements, which is demonstrated on reference test signals. We also carried out a successful verification measurement with respect to a commercial measurement device. Our software has open source code.
