Music industry professionals (MIPs) are at risk for Music-Induced Hearing Disorders (MIHD) due to prolonged exposure to high sound levels. While traditional avenues for hearing care are not always easily accessible, teleaudiology emerges as an innovative solution, offering remote consultations tailored to MIPs` needs. Through partnerships like MusiCares and Tuned, this approach addresses accessibility and affordability barriers, providing personalized care and recommendations to mitigate MIHD risks, ultimately improving the well-being of MIPs.
