The Application of Impulse Measurement Techniques to the Detection of Linear Distortion

Authors: Schaumberger, Alfred

AES Convention 40 · Paper 799 · April 1971

Abstract

The author gives a -catalog- of impulse distortion waveforms permitting conclusions as to the conventional response of systems, by showing the influence which defined distortion products have on the waveform distortion of impulses. A quantitative means of evaluating such distortion as well as the test conclusions to be drawn are the subject of practical examples.
