Abstract

As a result of the artistic activity of the tonregisseur (sound engineer) the contemporary stereo-record represents a special work of art, which forms new sound ideas in the internationa1 auditorium. Out of all the factors, which determine sound recording methods it is therefore necessary to find one common, to the international branch of tonraegisseurs. The common feature of all musical styles - the starting point for sound recording - is determined by research into the connection between musical style and acoustic ambience.
