AB  - A fully automatic 40:1 -In Cassette Duplicator- has been developed that is based upon a small, servo controlled, vacuum tape transport. The system isolates the cassette mechanics from the duplicating area thereby enabling precise tape control at the heads. The principles of operation of the Ampex CD-200 vacuum duplicating system are presented.
