AB - The requirements of good studio monitoring are: adequate power handling capability with low distortion, controlled dispersion, and an accurate electro-acoustical transfer characteristic over a substantial listening area. These will be discussed in detail with emphasis on the characteristics of specific loudspeaker types, the acoustical environment, and the application of electrical equalization.
