Authors: de Koning, S. H.; Franssen, N. V.

AES Convention 37 · Paper 697 · October 1969

Abstract

This paper describes the difficulties due to acoustic feedback in Public Address systems. It gives a survey of methods, used to avoid this feedback. Finally it shows a new method, which is based on the use of a large number of amplification channels, and permits us to amplify the sound at will without danger for instability.
