A Gain-Reduction Amplifier That Employs a Junction Field-Effect Transistor as an Active Element in a Resistive Divider

Authors: Jarvis, John P.

AES Convention 38 · Paper 713 · May 1970

Abstract

The performance of conventional FET-type gain-reduction amplifiers can be improved by circuitry which corrects for channel nonlinearity in the FET. The result is the lower generation of noise and distortion.
