Many digital equalization methods for loudspeaker systems have been proposed in the literature. However, a number of these do not equalize the low-frequency components effectively. A new method is proposed, which involves the incorporation of a warped filter into the conventional equalization design. Computer simulation results show that the proposed method is available to improve the performance of the equalized response at low frequencies while maintaining that at higher frequencies.
