AB  - Relationships among halls, studio monitor rooms, and listening rooms are described from the aspect of sound recording and reproduction. It will be shown that the reverberating time is an important factor in a room where a musical sound is reproduced. The optimum reverberation time for studio monitor rooms and listening rooms will be proposed and compared with measured results.
