Much discussion has evolved around the subject of phase error in stereo radio broadcast cartridge systems. A survey was made in the form of phase measurements at radio stations using the same equipment those stations used for on-air spots and music. This paper reports on the measurements taken and shows that much of the phase error is in excess of 50o and 10kHz.
