AB - Most amplifiers today are based on designs which exhibit low distortion. Feedforward and feedback schemes have been suggested to further refine the circuit performance, each processing inherent advantages and drawbacks. A method is presented in this paper which provides an improvement in performance by modulating the loop gain of a feedback amplifier. Following a theoretical discussion are experimental results which test the theory.
