AB - Three LSIs to process the digital signals in optical compact digital audio disc players have been developed. The newly developed LSIs are the CX-7933 demodulator circuit, the CX-7934 data control and interpolation circuit, and the CX-7935 error correction circuit. Used in a set, these three LSIs significantly improve the audio characteristics of a DAD player. One of the outstanding features is the error correction circuit. This particular circuit incorporates a very unique correction method called the "Super Strategy" which maintains a superb correctability while improving on the existing method by a factor of several orders.
