AB  - This paper deals with intermodulation distortion (IIM) which is cased by loudspeaker-induced error signals. It is shown that the loudspeaker must fulfill certain conditions in order to produce IIM-distortion. Experiments with a real loudspeaker show that these conditions are not fulfilled: loudspeakers are unlikely to produce IIM-distortion.
