A new endless loop cartridge has been developed for Radio Broadcasting. A tensioning arrangement similar to that found in professional reel-to-reel recorders provides constant tension eliminating the need for pressure pads. A special adjustment is added to provide compensation to the open loop for wear and other changes. A new tape construction eliminates the need for record equalization at the 7.5 ips broadcast speed. Maximum output is improved to provide 15 ips performance at 7.5 ips.
