The use of juries for psychoacoustic determination of loudspeaker quality is effective when properly done, but is also time consuming and expensive. A mechanized technique for assessing spatial imaging qualities would be extremely practical for use in loudspeaker system design. The interaural crosscorrelation coefficient (IACC) has been investigated for this purpose, and additional experiments are reported here.
