Linking Digital Audio and Time Code

At present, Time Code is the universal tool for editing and post-production. As systems designers are only too well aware, Time Codes and digital audio sampling frequencies (let alone digital audio formats for transmission and recording) are incompatible. This contribution presents a simple, universal method for combining any digital audio sampling frequency to any existing Time Code format, and allowing arbitrary accuracy in synchronization and editing. The technique is suited for both recording and transmission.
