Authors: Hilbich, Norbert

AES Convention 77 · Paper 2217 · March 1985

Abstract

Technical products are becoming more and more miniaturized by the progressive miniaturization of components. Problems often occur where very small mechanical elements are incorporated. Using the examples of an electret-condenser-microphone it will be shown by which means the size of such microphones can be reduced drastically. The influence on the performance of such a transducer will be explained.
