AES Convention 17 · Paper 401 · October 1965

Abstract

Methods of calibration over the frequency range from 0.01 cps to 200 kc and sound pressure levels up to 180 db (re: 2 x 10/-4µbar) are presented. These techniqu3es include the infrasonic pistonphone, reciprocity calibration, free field calibration, plane and standing wave tubes, shock tube and the electrostatic actuator.
