The low tracking force required by recent pick-up design and the increase in application of record surface moistening while playing raised the question of stylus wear under these circumstances. For this reason long-time playing tests have been done. For an A/B comparison stereo-scan pictures were taken and the audible results recorded on tape. Both will be demonstrated.
