The audio workstation takes on a key role as the interface between the different analogue and digital players, and any mass storage system by transmitting large collections of single carrier archives. With a suitable design the audio workstation has a great potential to eliminate latent sources of error by using automatic processes, and to greatly improve the efficiency by optimizing every step of the process.
