This panel discussion session focuses on education issues related to game-audio.
Topics covered include development of suitable course content to meet the needs of industry and how universities and game developers can develop stronger relationships to build research collaborations. The panel consists of educators from a number of well known institutions as well as industry representatives who work with academia. The workshop begins with a number of presentations highlighting these issues and then opens into a discussion with the audience about the best ways that we may take this into the future. Pragmatic as well as theoretic aspects of education in the Audio For Games industry will be discussed. Audience participation is strongly encouraged.
