Will Howie

Will Howie is a Recording Engineer, Music Producer, and Researcher, specializing in multichannel immersive audio. He holds a PhD in Sound Recording from McGill University. His research focuses on developing and evaluating music recording and mixing techniques for three-dimensional audio systems, including 22.2 Multichannel Sound, 11.1, Auro 3D, and various binaural mediums. Will has worked with a diverse range of artists professionally, including Tafelmusik, Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Chucho Valdez, Tegan and Sara, Ballet BC, Angelique Kidjo, Tanya Tagaq, and Jose Xtravaganza.
