Chris works in the audio research team at BBC R&D, focussing on spatial audio and particularly using binaural techniques in broadcasting and virtual reality. He helped to establish the BBC Audio Research Partnership in 2011, bringing together world-leading audio research laboratories. He is also a PhD candidate in the Audio Lab at the University of York and active in industry bodies such as the EBU and ITU.
