Abstract:
Subjective
audio system evaluation in vehicles is being used by today's audio system
suppliers and customers. Employing skilled listeners and repeatable procedures,
it is utilized to assess a target system's potential for customer satisfaction.
Typical elements of subjective evaluation include listening to multiple music
segments, utilizing reference listening room music systems, developing skills
in listeners and following procedures designed to enhance objectivity. This
workshop will feature presentations and discussions relating to various methods
of subjective automotive audio system evaluation in use today. Similarities and
differences between the methods will be offered.
