Modern Acoustical Science for Performing Arts Venues
This month’s lecture will present a history of modern acoustical science for performing arts venues. It will be given by John O’Keefe and is dedicated to our good friend, the late Terry Medwedyk. The talk will span the discoveries of the early 20th century, the early energy revolution of the mid-20th century and some of the more recent developments of the early 21st century. Our speaker, John O’Keefe has been responsible for the acoustic design of many of Canada’s favourite performing arts venues.
