    Audio Engineer/Atmos Mixer

    Jeff has spent over a decade as a staff engineer at the legendary Capitol Studios. During that time, he has worked with many of the industry’s most popular artists including John Mayer, Frank Ocean, Jenny Lewis, Ryan Adams, and Leonard Cohen. He has engineering credits on several Grammy-nominated releases including Willie Nelson’s “That’s Life” and Juan Winans’s “It Belongs To Me.” Jeff has also spent many years recording orchestral works for film and television, both as an engineer and as a recordist. Working alongside composers such as Joseph Trapanese, Joseph Shirley, and John Paesano, Jeff learned and honed skills for operating and managing large orchestral scores. Some of his recordist credits include “The Mandalorian”, “Diary Of A Wimpy Kid”, “Creed III”, “Spiderhead”, “8-Bit Christmas”, and “Shadow and Bone.” Jeff is among the first mixers to mix music for Dolby Atmos and Apple Music’s “Spatial Audio.” Some credited releases include Amelia Moore’s “Vinegar”, LAUV’s “All 4 Nothing”, “Shawn Mendes’s “Summer Of Love”, The B-52s “Rock Lobster”, and Maroon 5’s “Maps” & “Red Pill Blues” albums.

Central Regional Audio Student Summit

The Central Regional Audio Student Summit is an annual, student-led summit held every year at Webster University. It is the largest student-led audio summit in the world and features panels, workshops, a mix competition, live band recording, and more– all led by industry professionals. This year we are expecting to host of panelists and roughly 300 attendees from all across the country.

Some panels will be a standard presentation and Q&A, while others are hands-on workshops and recording sessions. All panels take place in the Leif J. Sverdrup Communications building at Webster University. There are different panels on each day, with panels running concurrently. The summit starts Friday, 3/27/2026 at 5:30pm, so there is no break for lunch this day. There is an hour lunch break from 12:15p-1:15p on Saturday, 3/28/2026 and Sunday, 3/29/2026.
