Object-Based Immersive Encoder Comparison at One Union Recording Studios in San Francisco!

This event will feature a double-blind listening test that puts reference PCM 7.1.4 up against DD+JOC and AC-4 L4 on a high-quality professional playback system. Attendees will have the opportunity to choose listening material, and solo speaker channels. There will be a short technical discussion from Nathaniel Reichman, founder of Immersive Machines and Erik Foreman of SoundForeman.

Additional Notes: 

Doors open at 5:00, studio tour and social time, then at 6:00 the presentation will start. We’ll have groups of 5 or 6 in two different rooms at a time to facilitate everyone getting a chance to listen and decide what they like best.
