Lenise Bent, the audio engineer behind your favorite records is coming to Austin, TX. If you’ve listened to Blondie’s “Autoamerican,” Steely Dan’s “Aja” or Supertramp’s “Breakfast in America,” you’re already a fan of her work. As the first woman to receive a platinum album for engineering, foreign dubbing supervisor on Shrek 2, and former Governor of the Audio Engineering Society, there is no one better to weigh in on the future of audio and where the business is heading. Hosted at Leftway Studios, this event will include an industry mixer, a conversation with Lenise and studio cofounder Kate Harrington, and an ask me anything portion.
