Ceri Thomas is undoubtedly one of the most influential people in the field of immersive audio. He worked many years at Dolby developing the Atmos platform, and then Apple hired him, becoming the expert behind Apple Music’s Spatial Audio. Ceri has been really hard to reach for many years, mainly because of the highly confidential nature of his work at Apple. Now for the first time he decided to speak in public at the Immersive Audio Academy, not as a panelist but as an exclusive interview. This event should be of great interest for practitioners and developers.
