In accordance with the AES Bylaws, any voting Member in good standing may propose additional candidates, in writing, for any of the offices listed on this slate, and the name of any candidate so proposed in writing by 100 or more qualified Members will also be entered on the ballot. Such additional nominations must be received by the Secretary of the Society (secretary@aes.org) by Friday April 24, 2026, 5:00 P.M. EDT U.S., with appropriate biography and photograph due by May 1, 2026.
The AES 2026 Election will take place between May 15, 2026, and June 26, 2026, online. Voting instructions with candidate bios and position statements will be emailed Friday, May 15, 2026, from Global Election Services, sending as “AES Election (helpdesk@voteges.com)”. Please ensure the AES has your correct email address by logging in to the AES Member Portal from aes.org or at https://members.aes.org/account/login.aspx. For assistance, please contact membership@aes.org. If you do not see your election materials by May 16, check your spam filter. Beginning May 16, you may also view candidate bios and vote directly at https://AES.gesvote.com.
Only individuals with Member status may vote in the election; Associate and Student Members may not vote. If you have not paid your dues for 2026 or wish to upgrade your status to Member to vote, you must do so no later than Friday, June 19, 2026, 5:00 P.M. Eastern.
