Bill Crabtree is a Professor of Recording Industry and the Director of the Masters of Fine Arts program in Recording Arts and Technologies at Middle Tennessee State University. He works as freelance musician, recording engineer, and technical writer. He has engineered a wide scope of studio productions in Boston and Nashville. As a technical writer he recently completed the latest Operator’s Manual for the API Legacy Plus console. He teaches courses in multi-track recording and studio production in MTSU’s B.S. in Recording Industry and M.F.A in Recording Arts and Technologies.
Prior to joining MTSU’s Recording Industry faculty, Bill served as an Assistant Professor at Berklee College of Music, Artist in Residence at Emerson College, Assistant Chairman of Audio & Media Technology at New England Institute of Art, and Chairman of Recording Arts at Massachusetts Communications College.

Cécile Tournesac was raised in France, where she studied violin, piano, and voice from an early age. After moving to New York City to attend the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at New York University, she discovered her love for music and sound in film.
During her 4 years at NYU, she was an active producer, engineer, composer, arranger, and sound designer for projects in a variety of fields and genres. In 2009, she received the silver prize for her recording of Lenny Pickett’s NYU Jazz Ensemble at the Audio Engineering Society Student Jazz Recording Competition in New York.
After graduating with honors in 2011, she moved back to her native Paris, where she started assisting Academy Award-winning composer Gabriel Yared. For three years, she had the opportunity to work on Haute Cuisine by Christian Vincent, Tom at the Farm by Xavier Dolan, and Kahlil Gibran’s The Prophet by Roger Allers, among others She is now a freelance music editor and score editor. Some of her most recent credit include The Martian (2015, dir. by Ridley Scott, music by Harry Gregson-Williams), The Danish Girl (2015, dir. by Tom Hopper, music by Alexandre Desplat), and Queen of Katwe (2016, dir. by Mira Nair, music by Alex Heffes).

Kris Górski sound engineer, producer and composer
Born in Poznan/Poland he begun his music education with piano at the age of 7, and continued through his years in college in England. He then moved to Paris where, after obtaining his diploma in Audio Engineering from SAE Paris, he engaged in 12 years of intensive studio work for independent artists, labels and TV stations. A few years into his sound engineering career he begun writing music for films which proved to be an ongoing passion and an important part of his work. He has since also become a song writer.

Thor Legvold is the owner and main engineer at Sonovo. Originally from the rich music scene of Los Angeles, he has a professional degree in psychology, and attended California State University, Art Center College of Design and the University of Bergen. Legvold has been based in Stavanger since 2000, working with the unique musical sensibility and expression found in Norway and Scandinavia, as witnessed by the recent populartity of Nordic bands and artists. An active bass player for both live and studio sessions from the early 80's to late 90's, Legvold focused on honing his mastering skills before opening Sonovo in early 2003.
Legvold has worked with numerous nominees to the "Spellemannpris" (Norwegian Grammys) as well as internationally known musicians in jazz and classical recordings, where the focus has been on realism and suspension of disbelief. Legvold has participated on AES panels in the past, Surround Mastering among others, and served as a mentor to student AES members.
Legvold has also consulted to both commercial entities and private parties regarding acoustics and sound technology, including the outfitting, training and running of the Norwegian Institute of Recorded Sound (NIRS) in Stavanger, previously Memnor, a subsidiary of Memnon, now a division of Sony.
