RAISIN TOAST RECORDS is a new model for a record label dedicated to citizenship in Detroit founded by a team of musicians and innovators from the University of Michigan.
They seek to empower musicians in Detroit’s artistic community by providing them with the human resources, equipment and support needed to create a quality musical product. In order to accomplish this, a group of talented and diversely skillful innovators will collaborate in a multi-functional way within Raisin Toast. Jonas has been with MathWorks since 2009. He holds a M.Sc. in information technology and a Technical licentiate in signal processing from Uppsala University. Since joining MathWorks Jonas has worked as a technical expert in the area of signal processing and communication, embedded design and FPGA implementation. Before joining Mathworks Jonas co-founded the Swedish company Dirac Research AB in 2001 where he held different positions in R&D until 2008 when he became the Brand Manager of the company. Dirac Research develop, market and license quality improving products for audio reproduction systems.

Crane Song Ltd. is about designing and building the highest quality audio hardware and software possible. The products include A/D and D/A converters, Equalizers, Preamps, Compressors, Monitor Controllers, and plug-ins for PT. The designs range from discrete class A electronics to dsp.
The Philosophy is to make musically sounding gear and plug-ins that solve problems in the recording environment. The products very flexible, by changing a control the sound of the device can go from very clean to very colored while remaining musical. In 2011 Dave Hill Designs was lunched to provide products that are digitally controlled analog, DHD follows the same philosophy of building the highest quality musical signal processing devices possible.
Some designs for other companies include Avid’s HEAT plug-in, ATR Service Company’s variable speed control and the ARIA discrete record - play tape machine electronics.
