Post Berklee Undergraduate Chris worked mostly in live sound both as a staff engineer for PH Productions and The First Church of Christ Scientists as well as a freelance engineer and a part time studio technician for the Center for Digital Imaging arts at Boston University.

In 2011, Chris found his way back to Berklee College of Music’s Boston Campus were he took on the role of Assistant Chief Engineer responsible for maintenance, repairs and upgrades of campus wide recording facilities and related equipment. From 2010 to 2012 he also worked as a freelance live recording engineer and broadcast mix engineer for the Berklee Performance Center featuring artists such as Andrew Bird, Lettuce, Clannad and many others.

Chris Wainwright is currently the Chief Engineer and an Assistant Professor at Berklee College of Music’s campus in Valencia, Spain. He teaches coursework in Music Production, Engineering and Mixing, and as Chief Engineer, also oversees a team of 3 in charge of the maintenance, repairs, upgrades and integration of all campus studio facilities and related equipment. It is here where he can flex all the muscles of his diverse background.
