Report of the meeting of the SC-02-08 Working Group on Audio file transfer and exchange, held online, 2022-05-04.

The meeting was convened by chair Piotr Majdak.

The formal notice on patent policy was read.

The agenda and the report of the previous meeting, held online on 2021-10-07 were approved as written.

In attendence were Piotr Majdak, Richard Cabot, Bruce Olson, Paul Treleaven, Fabian Brinkmann, Markus Noisternig.

AES31-3-R Review of AES31-3-2021, AES standard for network and file transfer of audio - Audio-file transfer and exchange - Part 3: Simple project interchange. including maintenance of annex F.
The typographical error in the published version of AES31-3 has been corrected.

AES69-R Review of AES69-2015: AES standard for file exchange - Spatial acoustic data file format
AES69 was published in 2020. A few errors have been discovered. A document containing the corrections has been circulated within the group. Agreement was reached on how to handle these revisions and the document is nearly ready for a public Call for Comment.

There was some discussion about image quality in the document. There appears to be significant resolution loss and artifacts introduced when converting to pdf format. The chair will investigate methods for fixing these issues.
