Other projects
No activity.
S Scott and A Rosen reported on early stage proposals in SMPTE TC32NF to improve the transmission of timecode over networks; there was a suggestion that there was little support for it but that could be because it had not been widely publicised. B Olsen suggested that it should also be put forward as an AES project, and that that would give it more visibility in SMPTE.
A Kuzub reported that MIDI 2.0 is also working on issues with SMPTE time code.
No new projects were proposed.
No new business was raised.
The next meeting will be scheduled in conjunction with the AES 152nd Convention, to be held online in May 2020.
