AES17-R Review of AES17-2015: AES standard method for digital audio equipment - Measurement of digital audio equipment
Status: No action requested or required – expected to be reaffirmed in 2020.
AES-12id-R Review of AES-12id-2006 (r2017): AES information document for digital audio measurements - Jitter performance specifications
Status: No action requested or required.
There was discussion around drift in clocks observed in equipment during a plugfest in Hosuton. It was proposed that a discussion be started with SC-02-12 about characterizing jitter for AES67. It was the opinion of the Standards Committee Chair that the experts in this area are resident in SC-02-12, but the measurement document (even if it is an information document) should come from this committee (SC-02-01).
AES-X217 Audio ADC test method and performance specification for archiving and preservation applications
Status: Chair has marked up proposed modifications and sent to key committee member; will follow up for response.
