Meeting Announcement

AES WILL meet next week: Tuesday, Feb 21, at 6 pm.

We will finish building our guitar pedals, and will spend some time testing them out!

It will be interesting to observe the differences in tonal characteristics from one pedal to the next,...plus we can all jam out.

Lotus Petal Designs Engineer, Sean Erspamer

11/15/2001 Sean Erspamer, owner of Lotus Pedal Designs (http://www.lotuspedaldesigns.com/about.html), will be at our weekly meeting to describe how he got into the guitar pedal building business and to present a pedal-building opportunity for our group.

Sean's presentation will begin with a short intro, around 10 minutes maybe followed by a demo of my pedal line, and finishing with a DIY schematic project: a basic one transistor/one knob design that could range anywhere from a clean boost to an overdrive, to a fuzz pedal depending on the components that each individual student used.  The total cost for the build would be roughly $25 each.
