Summary
Wolfgang Ahnert presented in a very comprehensive way (especially suitable for students who attended the venue) theoretical principles of measurements in room acoustics. He discussed advantages and disadvantages of various excitations signals (white and pink noises, MLS, sweep, real signals..). Implementation of these methods in EASERA software package was demonstrated including an in-situ measurement. We hope that such educational AES activities can result in more student members and better visibility of AES among students.
