"41st AES International Conference" was held in London on 2-7 February 2011.
This time, we organized to report on this conference and also replicate the workshop in this meeting.
There are three people who make a presentation.
First presenter is Mr. Nakahara who is architectural acoustic designer.
Mr. Nakahara reported on conference overview and the basic theory of Interactive Reverberator.
After the explanation of the basic theory by Mr.Nakahara, we run on next sequence.
Presenters are Mr. Kishi and Mr. Kojima who work for Capcon. Mr.Kishi is a sound director and Mr.Kojima is a sound programmer. They explained the details of Interactive Reverberator that made use of development machine by real game.
Attendance were able to preview the real sound about Interactive Reverberator in game scene and were able to check only wet sound too.
Especially, we were interested in change in corresponding reverberation scene by scene. Furthermore, it was a big surprise high quality sound.
There was FAQ after the presentation. One game programmer was concerned about capability of game console. However, we had felt a big new future for game audio industry.
After meeting, we had a social hour with presenters and attendance and made discussions about various topics in audio industry. It was really great fun.
