The Czech Section held their Annual AES day, which meant majority of the Section met for annual meeting and elections accompanied by four presentations given by their members. Pavel Stranak (Phobos Audio) presented experience with pre-modulation processing of audio signal in the DVB-T audio channel. Michal Kulhan, a life-long recording engineer who participated in recording of many famous recordings of classical music shared some of his life experience. Karel Motl (Soning) commented on problems encountered during reconstruction of the main Czech Radio building. To end the series, Jaromir Macak (Technical university in Brno) presented simulation of analog audio devices on PC in real time. All contributions were followed by a discussion which meant the topics were well prepared and at the end of the day we parted with our audio horizons broadened.
